La septième séance du séminaire “Etat prédateur, Conflits et Résistances” qui aura lieu le vendredi 07 juin entre 14h30 et 16h30.
A cette occasion nous accueillerons Pierre Matari (Enseignant-Chercheur, UNAM) qui aura une intervention intitulée : “Corporate management and financialization of the administrative apparatus of the State”
Résumé de l’intervention – Since the crisis of the 1970s, State transformations are dominated by the introduction of business and administration tools and methods in the administrative apparatuses and the institutions that execute public policies. This process establishes the imperatives of valorization and competition in the very heart of the state machine; phenomenon that we designate as financialization of public management or financialization of the administrative apparatus of the State. Its analysis contributes to understand certain mechanisms of structural complicity between the State and the financial oligarchies. In the present seminar, we analyze the origins, but also the main facets, trends and contradictions of the phenomenon.
